Jeffrey Busch

Mr. Busch has more than two decades of real estate industry experience as a developer, manager and investor. He has developed properties valued at hundreds of millions of dollars in various real estate asset classes, including large- scale residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects, as a principal, and as a senior-level representative of the U.S. government. Earlier in his career, Jeffrey Busch was appointed by two United States Presidents to serve in senior staff capacities – he served as, including Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), and later as United States Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. At HUD, Mr. Busch oversaw a yearly budget of US$3.2 billion used to develop housing and commercial real estate.

Mr. Busch is a graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business. He also holds a Masters of Public Administration from New York University, and a Doctor of Jurist Prudence from Emory University.

Don McClure

Mr. McClure is a real estate business professional, leader, trainer, advisor and entrepreneur. In his professional career he is known for taking the lead roles in organizational development efforts and large-scale projects. Mr. McClure’s experience covers many functional areas of finance and accounting, including Policy and Procedure development, Compliance, Internal Controls, Acquisition Due Diligence, Ratio Reporting, SEC Reporting, GAAP Financials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Contract Implementation, Billing, Payroll, Revenue/Expense Planning, Budgets and Reporting. Mr. McClure has extensive experience in operational business development creating policy and procedures specific to REIT compliance to prevent fraud and material errors. His core real estate business experience covers Residential, Office, Retail, Medical Office and Industrial asset classes, as well as ground-up development projects. He is well-versed in Housing and Urban Development, Tax Credit, Bond Deals, Condominium and Home Owner’s Association issues. Don served as the Accounting Manager of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE/WRE), the oldest REIT in the country, with an established track record of consecutive dividend distributions. Mr. McClure also served as the CFO/Controller of Quantum Real Estate Management, an organization of over 140 employees. Mr. McClure brings experience working with the “Big Four" accounting firms, along with many local firms, having been engaged in over 300 client-side quarterly, interim and year-end audits. Mr. McClure holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Keller School of Management. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in International Finance at Walden University.

Conn Flanigan

Mr. Conn Flanigan serves as General Counsel and Secretary with several of HFE’s U.S. subsidiaries. He began advising these subsidiaries as in-house Corporate Counsel in 2000 and was appointed to General Counsel in 2007. Mr. Flanigan advises on all corporate and securities matters, including corporate finance and structure, debt and equity offerings, and securities compliance. In addition, Mr. Flanigan negotiates, drafts, and oversees the companies’ transactions.

Mr. Flanigan received a B.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego in 1990 and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1996.

Norman Reese

VP Acquistions

Mr. Norman Reese has vast experience in the real estate and investment fields, dating back to 1988. For the past 14 years Mr. Reese has been a full time participant in the Single Family Residence (“SFR") investment arena, having been a principal on hundreds of successful real estate transactions of all sizes; he has managed transactions ranging from a single home to large packages consisting of 300+ homes. As an early investor in one of America’s most successful single family real estate companies, HomeVestors of America, Mr. Reese was a problem-solver for distressed properties, creating solutions and strategies for the growing single family rental industry. Long-term relationship-building within the industry among banks, title agents, brokers, attorneys and accounting firms, and among clients, are the cornerstones of Mr. Reese’s abilities to discover marketplace opportunities and trends. Previously, he was Branch Manager for Prudential Investments, where he held Series 24 and 26 Securities Principal licenses, as well as Series 7, 63, Life/Health and property/casual licenses. For Guardian Mortgage, as Vice President of Sales in 1999 Mr. Reese took a private real estate investment business from concept to profitability, securing $7.1 million of private investor funding for single family homes, and $15 million to build a luxury apartment community.
